Sun Rays Tickling the Ocean Waves

Girl sitting by the fire on the beach, the boy next to the water, looking towards the horizon.

Dancing with the Sun Rays Tickling the Ocean Waves… all Across the Seven Seas

The moment when the two opposites meet and greet.
In the twinkling of an eye,
swept away by the palpable attraction,
two bipeds, taken over by the spell of nature,
they initiate a honey-sweet relation.

Until the mighty vigor of the fire clashes
against the unsurmountable force of water.
Like the sun and the ocean, endlessly romancing,
the waves never stop bouncing.

The fire and water, somehow,
find the most unusual ways to embrace.
Guiding our own primordial forces,
inviting us to express ourselves, to dance.

Yet, we, tiny-vast-human beings.
with all our aspirations, shortcomings,
anticipations, projections, and tone of reactions.
We struggle when our substratum
is still full of air bubbles.

How can fire continuously burn and glow,
how can water shine and flow if the foundation
cannot sustain the force of its own creation?

So much interference, obstruction, resistance, arrogance, pride,
with a lack of integrity, humility,
and pure love is gone,
with the flickering shadow
caused by the passing gust of wind.

Still, in their own unique ways,
both fire and water continue to rise,
from within.

To guide us,
to lead the way toward the horizon.
There – we meet again.
After all the struggles we had to face,
to understand, to overcome,
to rise above, to arrive at the place
where the Sun Rays tickle the Ocean Waves.
free to play, to dance, embrace, and romance.

A blissful sight to behold,
so innocent and tender sweet –
the heart expands, begins to sing.

If only we are blessed to see,
and realize how exquisite,
how precious,
how fragile Life is.

Gratitude to Fire, Wind, and Water.
To all the elements on Earth.

Let us never forget that we owe it all to Mother Nature.
All of our blessings, all of our lives and dreams.

If You Dare to Believe

There is a source of immense power
that you have access to,
through yourself,
at any given moment in time.
But only if you dare to believe…

You need to find courage,
extend your trust that you can,
and you will.

How else could you have come this far in life?
Every single day.
Step by step, you believed that you could,
since the moment you took your very first step.

Perhaps you were lucky
to have been graced by the support
from those precious ones on your way.

A nudge, a wink,
a few encouraging words or a heartfelt hug.
It might have been a good friend,
who extended his or her strong belief that you can.
And you did!
Such is the force of love,
courage, true friendship, and trust—
They move mountains
inside out
when you dare to believe.

I know you can.
You know you can.
You did it before.
by the power of Grace,
you will do it again!

A few thoughts I had while finishing this beautiful poem – they are about courage.
Courage cannot be fabricated. When in the presence of a person who lives a life of integrity and authenticity I get a very special kind of sensation that moves me from within – a palpable , tangible experience that penetrates beyond mental precept. The air around such an individual is denser, for they radiate a special kind of charisma and stamina that sets them apart from the rest. They have achieved a very high level of integration and are pretty much consistently living a life of inner peace, harmony, content with what life presents and what they are able to manifest. Such is the power of the force of the Self. Being aware, living a fairly simple yet noble life, being of service, being grateful, forgiving, understanding, kind, wise, loose in opinions.
Live and let live, with an open mind and a soft heart.
It’s a new day, a new dawn and such is my insight of today.
May it be blessed.

What About Regrets?

Meandering river surrounded by mountains

How often do you catch yourself regretting something you should have done, but you didn’t? Or something you shouldn’t have done but you did it anyways?

You revealed your secret or you didn’t.
You accepted the new offer or you didn’t.
You moved to the new place or you didn’t.
You dissolved a romantic attachment or you didn’t.
You ventured to new destinations you’ve always dreamt of
or you didn’t… not yet.
You opened your heart or you kept it closed.
You allowed the kiss to unfold or you sealed your lips and bowed out.
You devoured the juicy orange or you waited too long
and the sun-ripened fruit was gone.
You said I’m sorry or you didn’t… not yet.

You are exactly where you want to be, who you want to be, how you want to be. And if you think you’re not (not yet), because you generated too many regrets, you are still exactly where you want to be. Also, you can still get exactly where you want to go, with more ease if you are willing to drop your regrets that hold you back.

You think, there for you are. I am, therefore you are. Being right here, right now, because when you are – fully here and now – there is no space for regrets.

Learn to strengthen your faculty of presence – become fully engrossed in the present moment.

Feel the wind breeze on your skin – fully.
Smell the freshly baked bread or some other aroma you may like, that brings up a sense of happiness.
Watch the birds flying, the squirrels jumping, branches of the tree swaying in the wind.
Touch your arm, massage your neck, kiss your own hand!

Bring your attention to something that anchors your senses here and now, so your thoughts may follow, so you can bring your mind home, here & now – yes, this is home!

Or simply – read these few lines totally engrossed – the lines I have put together with my fullest attention, for you, my dear fellow traveler, wholeheartedly.

Life is like a meandering river, full of life, ever changing. Never can you step in the same river twice. Never are you the same person again. And so is your life journey – continuously morphing. You can never repeat the same moment again, hence, try to live it fully, whatever that fully may be for you. Don’t compare your life with someone else or with your past self – don’t get lost in comparing, judging, regretting. Accept your life and every single moment that brought you here & now. Be grateful for everything that happened or didn’t happen in your life.

Why? Because in this very moment of time you are the sum of all the moments that have brought you to this point in life. A culmination of all the bits that have made you the way you are.

I would not be here & now if one single twinkle was left out. It doesn’t matter how I perceived that moment in the past – but it matters now, because although that moment cannot be changed, my current perception of that moment can.

And there is nothing else more powerful than the realization that everything is perfect, just the way it is.

Health, sickness, wealth, poverty, happiness, sadness, regrets, pain, suffering, acceptance. Yes, even your regrets are part of who you are in this very moment. Even regrets are perfect as soon as you are able to perfectly accept them and accept yourself for having them. And if you struggle doing so, ask yourself a question: ‘Do they serve me well? Are they life enriching companions? Do they bring me peace, joy, a smile to my face? Or do they make me cry and cringe? Being soaked in my own regrets what happens to me? Does it take away my ability to be more present, from living my life fully here & now? Do I need really them? Is it time to let go?’

What is your emotional state right now? How does it feel having to experience these feelings? Look into yourself, be honest with yourself – no judgement. Take a deep breath, hold your breath for a few moments, allow your thoughts and emotions to sink together, then… breathe it all out. With a sigh or two if needed be. Do this motion a few times, as many times as you think & feel you need to, and then, take a few moments to be fully present with yourself. Nobody else but your own self.

There’s not much else left, really. Acceptance, knowing you are here & now, whoever, wherever you are, whatever you have or not. Simplicity. Feel & recognize yourself fully, be grateful for being alive, as you enter the flow and you ride with the force of your own, powerful, life-giving breath. Simply, by being, remaining aware, for as long as you can. Move your fingers, your toes, your nose, your legs, shoulders, smack your lips, blink with your eyes – just because you can.

What an empowering thought. ‘I can!‘ So simple, taken for granted – yet – when I realize that no stone, tree, or building has that same ability & gift as I have, it makes me smile, I feel empowered and grateful to be what, where, how, and who I am.

As human beings we are blessed to dwell in perfect human bodies, we have brilliant minds, capacity to move, think, feel, sense, love, spill our hearts out. I can scratch myself when I feel an itch – and I am the only one in this whole wide world who knows that I have an itch, only I know where and how to scratch myself to sooth my itch. Hence, I know what freedom is, even if it has to start by noticing an innocent itch that never goes unnoticed and unattended. At leas for me.

You know that very well, we all have that in common, that’s why it made you chuckle & smile. Say ‘thank you life’, next time you get the pleasure to scratch yourself again!

Fundamentally, life is good. Rivers flow, just like your precious, god/force/nature given life. Human beings – what a miracle and force of nature, such an incredible potential, so many possibilities at any given time in life.

One final conscious breath, lungs filled up with fresh air, a short pause, and out I go following my exhale. In with the new, out with the old! It’s the only way forward weather you think it or not. I am, therefore you are. I did what I could, and I didn’t what I couldn’t.

I try and do my best in whatever I do. Even if I have to say I’m sorry, I really didn’t know better, but now I do. I learn from mistakes, I let go, and I move on. Just like the flowing river. It’s the only way forward, not by being an obstacle to myself and to my continuously inherent flow.

Allow life to flow, remain as present as you can so you can respond accordingly at any given moment in time, do your best, and use your time wisely & fully & well.

Life is precious. It’s a good life. So, let it flow!

Love & Life

Sloth sitting on a branch

There’s so much to experience in life; for me, love tops it all. Our deepest need and desire to be loved, to feel loved, to be able to give love. Knowing our love is received, watching the love expand, bifurcate in multiple forms. Like the hundreds of seeds of a giant sunflower.

Why do I think lovers so blissfully content? Regardless if the whole world is in tatters and turmoil.

Life will always choose the best conduit for us to experience love at any given moment in time. Our children, our partner, our pets, friends, fairies… any force of nature you may be ready for, and anyone that reciprocates your love and enriches your existence, adds value to life, lifts you up, brings out the best in you, and those around you. Once you soak in that love you know.

Love is a force binding every atom together, reminding us about the meaning of life.

We start sensing the depth of human potential when we surrender to love.

There is no way to force love to come, to occur. The invitation however, is welcome. Love is always around, and our heart are its prime recipient. Love begins to flow through our heart when our heart is willing, ready, and open to both – giving and receiving love.

When? Hard to say. There are instances in lives of individuals when they had to endure many years or decades without experiencing the depth of love they knew it’s was possible to experience. Deep inside, one never knows when the lightning will strike, move us from inside out and outside in, tease out the deepest tears, banish any empty fears, make us quiver because of the certainty of the most profound knowable unknown. Because of knowing what we have always known.

Love has the most unique power to heal, to penetrate our soul, to nourish, to permanently alter our state of being – unlike any medicine, treatment, food, or drug we have ever received in our life for a medium called money, crypto, or gold.

Love is a currency and a value in its own right. Love simply is. There is no such thing as a tradeoff. Love flows freely, it can never be captured, conquered, divided, or altered in any shape or form. Not even in the name of god. Love is unaccountable for, infinite, it is superior, it is forever. Love is available to us all, always in abundance. Love itself is unconditional.

Love makes you grateful for being alive. Love turns your body into a bunch of vibrating atoms and electrons, morphing you into a magnetic force. It is so much more than you have ever dreamt of being possible. The whole existence bows down to love. Love is the quintessential, primordial force that keeps us all together. Like the ocean and its waves, the rose with its scent, the air and its breeze, the honey on your lips. Inseparable, just like love and life.

Never lose your hope, keep the fire burning, that flame that gave you life, the fire that enables you to stay alive. Whoever you may love… your partner, your brother, sister, parents, friends, your dog, your cat, the bees, birds, flowers, trees, rivers, mountains, stars, the sun, your loving thoughts, your life. Love them wholeheartedly. But above all love yourself.

It all begins right here, right now, at home. Your home, your core, your heart, every beat of it. The love you are able to tap into from within. At any given moment in your life.

Try it, try it NOW! Really try, and reach in, as deep as you can and you will feel it’s inside. It has always been there, perhaps a bit dormant or latent, from time to time. Or a bit shy, but it has always been there, like a rosebud in spring. Waiting for the sun to shine upon it, to awaken it, so it may begin to unfold. Petal by petal, slowly, magnifying its glorious presence and beauty. Showering its blessings with its divine grace. Releasing its fragrance, infusing its surrounding with its intoxicating scent – no bee can ever resist the call. They become lovers at first sight, there is no doubt, it’s a dance of giving and receiving, so that life can go on.

Love is the prerequisite of life. Love and life cannot exist without each other. The cosmic dancer and his/her dance, it’s all about the love and life – Shakti and Shiva. The force that brings this universe to life and the source that sustains it. Day in, day out, the never-ending cosmic dance – with you, me, us – all of us dancers, moved by life, infused with love.

To surrender, is to rise on the wings of the force most precious throughout the whole existence of this universe. I bow down to you, my love.

I love the following thought that came by on this special morning: “I belong to no body and no thing in this world. No body and no thing belongs to me. Yet, I am always willing to surrender to Love. I am the undividable extension of your Love. You are the forever expansion of my Love. Therefore, I am you and you are me. I own you and you own me, but only in Love, through Love, and with Love.”  ❤️🙏

The Blade Forged in Fire

Blazing amber

Finest blades are forged in roaring heat of fire. The kind of fire that does not leave behind any impurities. All that is impure burns away.

Can you imagine yourself being in the fire that purifies and draws out any remaining residues that serve you no more.

A fierce, willing, peaceful warrior with a distinct sword is an image I’ve always been mysteriously drawn to. The blade formed of 33,000 layers, forge-welded to one another – it leaps, it slopes, and pivots in my hands as one single blade. Don’t ever be fooled based on a simple looking appearance. It often takes 33,000 layers for magnificence to take place.

I wonder, how many perfect layers had to come together before I took birth? Every lifetime is an opportunity to realize and demonstrate the perfection that we already are. With or without the Samurai sword.

After conception and before we’re born – the only connection we have to our mother ship is our food providing link. It’s a necessary dependency which enables us to grow from a seed into a fully developed bi-ped. While in the womb, we hang in-between the worlds. On one side is our innate connection to the universe we well know. The other side is the emerging connection to the world we know very little of. All we are able to do is feel everything that goes on the outside of our little bubble through the carrier of the womb – our mother.

The initial imprinting starts early – in the womb. It represents the foundation of how we respond later on in life, it’s the basis of our personality. A fairly simple set of equations that determine our head-start. If you want to know more there are a few basic parameters to look into in figoure out what might have contributed to the way you are:

  • Have I been nourished, fed well, and enough?
  • Was my mother exhausted, was she ever afraid, sad, angry, insecure?
  • Did she bathe me in joy, happiness, inner peace and love?

All these impressions form the very foundation are the beginnings of us starting to experience the world around us. If you discover there’s been a deficiency, fret not. Take it as it is – without any resentment – and start actively working to bring that aspect of you in balance.

Born into this world, our early days are very similar, we’re still in a kind of a soup and we slowly start developing our abilities to see, hear, taste, and smell, as we begin to sharpen our senses.

Feeling the world around continues being omni present, impressions continue building upon our base foundation.

Our senses amplify our experience of me in this world, making our life more exciting. The way each of us starts and continues our journey to becoming a man or a woman we are today is different. Each of us represents a very unique story – one of a kind DNA. No 2 grass blades are the same, yet alone people.

I have often been scratching my head when it comes to relations. What causes attractions between the two people?

I’m sure there have been and will be thousands of books written on this topic, but have I consciously chosen not to engage in. It would introduce someone else’s point of view and interfere with my free though flow and direct experience. As direct as that can be, based on how clear I am currently able to see.

What do I see? Attraction happens how and why?

Magnet gets pulled towards the iron because of magnetic properties of the attractor. Both the attracted object and the magnet react, they respond by moving closer, until they connect. Reaction depends on the size of the iron and the potency and the size of the magnet. Magnets have their opposite poles – they also attract one another and can only be kept apart by the same force.

As a child, I was fascinated by these reactions and would spend hours playing in my dad’s garage. Simply goofing around, learning about properties of iron, copper, lead, melting zinc, playing with the fire torch, molding the zinc into different shapes and forms. I was fascinated by the way different elements respond to various treatments. My father trained as an electrician, which gave me an insight into the world of the precious current we managed to capture to harness the energy that brings inanimate objects to life.

Amongst all I had on disposal, my most favorite was mercury they used to put in thermometers those days. I would sneak out the thermometer from the first aid cupboards and break them on purpose, only to add a few more silver drops to my precious collection. I could spend hours being mesmerized by the mysterious ways mercury moves. Watching how it seamlessly merges together and the way it separates when teased out, how it responds to temperature, with all the qualities it imbibes.

Where am I going with this, you may wonder? Curiosity is one of my strong drives. Trying to figure it out. Trying to understand what it is that makes this world and keeps it all together? Relationships, bonds, attraction between multiple elements coming together to enrich their own experience? To enhance our experience?

I believe that the law of attraction is innate, unique to each particle, element, object, human being.

The law of attraction cannot be imposed, unless you do it by force, which always backfires and distorts the balance in this world, because its foundation depends on complete harmony and seamless flow.

Why do we get attracted to certain people, places, food, objects, sounds, sights, emotions, scents? What is the secret of attraction?

Why does the honey bee get so attracted to the cherry blossom in its prime? They seem to complete each other – one providing food and the other continuity of life. The whole dance appears to be an ecstasy for the hungry bee. One is hungry, the other in abundance and existential need. It all happens for the sake of the fruit; the new seed needs to take place. Nature does this endlessly, its goal is to produce zillions of seeds, knowing that not all of them are meant to sprout and grow into another apple bearing tree. Only a handful of the strongest that promise continuity survives and continue the course of evolution.

What about us? Human beings? For example, why are you attracted to me? Where does your attraction to me come from? What is the “thing” that creates our magnetism. Why do we respond the way we do? That is my question.

They say perfect match is made in heaven before we are born.

I’ve been thrown in the thick of it, a few times, so I could taste what it feels like. But why do we respond the way we do? What is the purpose of it all? Where do I stand when the law of attraction comes into action?

Two magnets, their opposite poles, pulling them together – the force. It takes equal force to keep them apart. What is the secret of attraction?

Is it fusion that occurs between two light atoms bonding together to make a another one? For life to emerge, there needs to be fusion. To enable this wonderful perpetual show. It makes perfect sense.

Back to two people. Attraction, magnetism that goes beyond visual and mental attraction. I’m interested in the pull instigated on all levels… body, mind, heart, and the soul between two individuals. In between, one should consider themselves lucky and blessed if they ever get to experience that connection.

What is the purpose of such attraction that occurs in this realm? How do I honor that unique experience of infinite possibilities?

In most cases in nature, the purpose is to create something together. Usually, it turns out to be a child, but that’s not always necessarily. The energy of creation can be channeled into various streams for different purposes – when done consciously, of course. What comes out of that unique place where the two stand firmly in love and connect will be a gift to everyone else to observe and behold. A blessing, something reinforced and inspired beyond the sum of the two. That makes more sense, at least to me.

There are endless expressions of the law of attraction in this universe. Everything coming together-moving away, drawing nearer-drifting apart. When you zoom in, it appears so. But if you zoom out you will only ever see everything coming together. Very slowly, barely possible to notice, but nevertheless it’s all coming home.

The larger the expressions of the Self, the stronger the law of attraction with it’s pulling force, the bigger the ripple effect in the space they infuse with their presence. For the greater good? Why not. Knowing I am being my larger Self I’m happy to be in the game, participate, be part of the flow and become the instrument that you play.

Yours truly; the fiddle.
