Black River

Brigi, sitting by Black River

I journeyed to the ancient grove.
I came to be with you.
To immerse myself in body, spirit, and the mind.

I sat beside you and I gazed.
I sat for hours, many days.
Until I fell into a peaceful state.
Until the moment I arrived.

Devoid of memories and thoughts.
Myself and You – in one eternal flow.

Little did I know.
Timeless is your flow.
The vessel of the primal force,
Dissolving all the flaws
that cause delusion,
And keep us ill-informed.

I sat beside you and I gazed.
I sat for hours, many days.
With Sunrays playing at my sight,
I received the song you’ve hummed,
Since the dawn of Light:

‘Come – come to me and quench your precious thirst.
Flow – flow, and overflow with precious joy.

Yes – You,
Beloved, precious You.’

All is Grace!

Flutterby

Butterfly

Butterfly!
You fluttered by,
with wings that spread worldwide.

I cherished your glorious sight,
I witnessed your farewell flight.

With the strength of a final few heartbeats,
You peacefully landed on my shoulder,
and folded your colorful wings.

Your essence rose with ease and grace,
towards the eternal plane.
Your earthly wings remain –
in memory of what is here to stay.

As I celebrate your life,
Your wings reach wider,
I smile and fold my hands in prayer.

Butterfly!
You fluttered by,
with wings that spread worldwide.
