Lightning May Strike

Girl in a cloak, staining, watching,, lightning, stormy weather

I can never be quite sure
how my day is going to unfurl.

It starts off as a simple,
well intended,
clear my mind of all the busy thoughts
afternoon walk.

Before the clock strikes five,
the lightning fires up my spine.

On that sacred spot,
beside my favorite rock.
Nothing special, barely visible,
A kind of sight no one cares to notice.

I stand there,
seeking solace,
pouring out my prayers,
my gratitude.
To everything and everyone
my life is blessed by.

To my fellow travelers.
So many of you have carried me through.
Many of our paths have parted,
as we journey on,
each responding to our own call.

I am the sum of the parts that made me who I am.

The sum of all your smiles,
your tears,
envies, desires,
shames and blames,
resentments, appreciations, admirations.

All of it,
twisted together
with the hint of your trust,
your joy, your fear,
your love.
All of it,
without a twine of doubt.

I am wrapped in the cloak,
woven by all of your threads.

underneath that cloak I wear,
remains the untouchable, unclad,
timeless me.
The one wearing the cloak that soaked it all in.

Lightning may strike.
It happens,
all of a sudden,
out of the blue.

To shake me, to wake me,
to ruffle my feathers,
reminding me of what truly matters.

Especially on days
when the cloak feels so dreadfully weary
and heavy to carry.
Like a beacon of much needed light,
sending a few wake-up shivers
up and down my spine.

Would I be here if it wasn’t for the love of some sort?

Would there be anything or anyone in this glorious world,
if it wasn’t for the sacred binding force that holds it all together?

The lightning may strike.
What is the force telling me now?

Perfectly timed prompt,
reminding me to humble down,
to count my blessings,
to celebrate, appreciate the life I own.
I must respond.
Because I am the only one who knows.
The only one who can.
With love, fortitude, and grace.

If You Dare to Believe

There is a source of immense power you have access to,
through yourself,
at any given moment in time.
But only if you dare to believe.

You need to find courage,
extend your trust that you can,
and you will.

How else could you have come this far in life?
Every single day.
Step by step you believed that you could,
since the moment you took your very first step.

Perhaps you were lucky
to have been graced by the support
from those precious ones on your way.

A nudge, a wink,
a few encouraging words or a heartfelt hug.
It might have been a good friend,
who extended his or her strong belief that you can.
And you did!

Such is the force of love,
courage, true friendship, and trust–
it moves mountains.
Inside out.

When you dare to believe.

I know you can.
You know you can.
You did it before.
by the power of Grace,
you will do it again!

I would like to share a few thoughts I had while finishing this beautiful poem. It’s about courage.
Courage cannot be fabricated. When in the presence of a person who lives a life of integrity and authenticity you will get a very special kind of sensation that moves you from within – a palpable , tangible experience that penetrates beyond mental precept. The air around such an individual is denser, for they radiate a special kind of charisma and stamina that sets them apart from the rest. They have achieved a very high level of integration and are pretty much consistently living a life of inner peace, harmony, content with what life presents and what they are able to manifest. Such is the power of the force of the Self. Being aware, living a fairly simple yet noble life, being of service, being grateful, forgiving, understanding, kind, wise, loose in opinions.
Live and let live, with an open mind and a soft heart.
It’s a new day, a new dawn and such is my insight of today.
May it be blessed.

The Girl with a Rose

You gave her a rose,
made her heart flutter.

The line woke her up
as if time doesn’t matter.

The girl with a rose.

She beckons you,
asks you sincerely.

‘Please mind my kind heart,
I care for you dearly.’

So, it is true.
The saying by Lao Tzu:
‘From Caring comes Courage’,

The courage to listen and respond
to the calling of the Heart.

At Your Own Sweet Pace

There is a certain kind of beauty
when you trust and follow your own pace.
An enticing life of harmony,
not getting swayed away by the crazy race.

Often, there’s no need to rush,
trying to get ahead of yourself only to crash.

Synching in with your own natural speed,
finding your rhythm,
You tune into your unique unfolding of time.

Allowing yourself to listen, to explore fully,
to dive deeper into the source of your own voice,
to experience the grace as it unfolds,
in its own pace, just like the bud of a rose.

I do love the rush and excitement,
but not for the price of getting carried away.

Life is a balancing act.
Try to remember the equilibrium
in everything you do and choose to entertain.

Don’t get swayed away,
for the sake of wanting to be among
the first few ahead of the game.
Yes, there can be a reaping reward at the end of the day,
but there’s also a burning price you may have to pay.
Unless, of course, that’s how you were born
and how you freely choose to play.

Either way,
keep your feet firmly rooted on the ground.
Get to know who you are.
Assess your values, your priorities,
your potentials, your most dearest needs, and wants.

There will come a time,
when your wings will carry you
with a light speed ahead of all those
who once rushed and lost their way,
for the sake of fear of missing out,
only to be left behind.

Find your own sweet pace.
Learn from mother nature.
Everything happens in perfect time & space.

The old is coming to an end.
The old with its tight grip,
as if nothing else matters.

As the grip of the old tightens,
the new can sense the waning hour of its power.
The old knows, as soon as it let goes,
it has to give its final blessing,
that bit we call farewell.

The bull,
majestic bull is standing on the plateau,
faced towards the rising sun,
rising out of the horizon.

The first few rays are spilling into the ocean,
just before the sun is up, above the edge.
That breathless moment,
when it all appears to be standing still.

The old and the new.
Mystery as old as time.
What have I to learn from all that is passing by?

Decay, death, birth, a new start.

I give my gratitude to all that is fading away.
Burning out, giving its final emanating surge of power,
until it’s time to give it up.

It’s time to give it up.
Your time, your rule, your reign is over.

So many valuable lessons,
so much generosity,
so many good deeds,
all of it going towards new, fresh seeds.
It’s time to let go, graciously.

Out of the old roots grow the new shoots.
Come spring, watch the glory unfold in its full swing.

Roaring fireplace, a few soft cushions,
the sound of crackling fire wood,
a copper flask of water and myself,
gazing towards the blazing fire,
as it eats the wood away,
sending heat my may.

And me, holding my favorite pen, etching and scratching
the final few pages of my 5th thick notebook of this year.

When the New Year starts,
I will pull out a fresh, new, sky blue one!

May the New Year be blessed,
full of inspiration, joy, strength,
as we navigate through all sorts of times.
Joyful, challenging, struggling, healing, messy, exiting, sad, hungry, happy.
May we learn, may we grow and become wiser, suppler, more caring, and stronger,
as we bravely sail on.

Out of the gracious Old comes the radiant New.

Balancing Act

Life is a balancing act.
Everything in life is about balance; down to a single molecule and atom, the building block of everything that forms your or my reality.

How much pressure I need to put on my fountain pen to write these lines, while streaming my thoughts and forming some meaning? How much is enough and what is too much?

How much air do I breathe in, how smoothly, and how much do I exhale? When do I stop?
At what point in time do I put forward my left leg and when does the right foot follow? How can I balance my body when I stand on one leg so I don’t topple over? My left side of the body is perfectly aligned with it’s opposite side. Balance is everywhere, everything is striving to remain in perfect balance.

I have to keep my body in balance after I jump off the plane, diving in the sky, just before my parachute opens, shooting me up, before gravity gently pulls me down again.

Swimming is all about finding the balance to keep afloat, for my body to move seamlessly through the element of water.

Ice-skating is all about keeping my balance as I slide on ice.

Skiing is all about finding and keeping my balance as I meander down the snowy hill. Snowboarding, surfing, horse riding, ski jumping, biking, rowing, dancing, tightrope walking, martial arts, rock climbing, gymnastics, athletics, team sports.

There is no sport in this world, no activity, no task that does not require and teach us about balance – inner balance (equanimity) and outer balance.

How much to eat of what, when to stop, How much to drink, when to say, it’s enough. How long to sleep, when to wake up. Work – rest. Daytime – nighttime. Feminine – masculine. Yin – Yang. Shiva – Shakti. Light – dark, left – right, up – down, in – out, cold – hot, passive – active, love – hate, sad – happy, and on and on. You got the point! The tiny dot, bang in the middle, with everything else around.

The whole existance is built based on balance. Birth – death and all inbetween that requires our attention so we can hone our innate balancing skills.

Why is balance so important? When there is lack of balance it shows in disturbance of peace and harmony. The further from the center we drift, the less peace and harmony we are able to enjoy. We start compensating one imbalance to create another. How long can the sand castle last before it gets washed away by the tidal wave, blown away by the wind, dismantled by rain? Only time will tell.

Learn to balance every aspect of your life. You have two eyes, two ears, two nostrils, two of each limbs. Human body is a perfect representation of balance. How much easier and straightforward could it be?

Identify areas in your life where less is more, where force is needed, where softness and gentleness is called for.

Listening vs. taking. Material vs. spiritual. Learning, mental activities, movement vs. quiet time & empty space, stillness.

What all have you promised in life and how much have you delivered? How much do you talk and how much do you walk your talk?
What all have you taken and how much have you given?

All seasons, all stages of life, every day, every moment in time is a mirror, reflecting our state of balance.

Including our financial sheet of balance – our assets vs. liabilities. Not only in this moment but through our entire life, and much longer, in case you remember. Our life story begins long before our birth and spans beyond our death. What legacy do you thread?

Where do you stand? What do you represent?  What is your true balance as an expression of life force? Who are you as a woman, as a man?

What is your true worth when you strip naked and all your wordly possessions are gone? Where do you stand? How do you stand? Who is the one standing on the two wonderful, balancing feet?

Balance – tick, tack, tick, tack,… booom.
The clock chimes with a tune.
It’s 12 o’clock, it’s noon.
It’s 12 again, only this time it’s midnight.
Twice a day, twelve o’clock.
One half spilling into another.
Together they form the whole,
and the circle of eternity is born.

Circle of Life.

No matter how expanding or contracting is the circle, how fast or slow it spins, regardless of its circular dimension, the central point is always in the middle, unchanging, in the same spot, no matter what. And nothing seems to matter more than a tiny, single, inconspicuous dot.

Om Shanti, Shanti, Shanti, Om

Peace, peace, peace
May there be peace on earth as it is in heaven

Peace be with us all. 11:11

Inspired Opinions: Chat GPT

What is Chat GPT?

GPT (Generative Pre-training Transformer) is a type of language model developed by OpenAI that can generate human-like text. It is trained on a large dataset of human-generated text and is able to generate text in a variety of styles and formats. “Chat GPT” could refer to a chatbot that uses the GPT model as a basis for generating responses to user input. Chatbots are computer programs designed to engage in conversation with human users through text or voice interactions. They can be used for a variety of purposes, such as providing customer service, answering questions, or helping users find information. Chatbots that use GPT or other language models as a basis for generating responses can be especially useful for tasks that require a high level of natural language understanding and generation, such as language translation or content generation.

Chatbots that use GPT or other language models as a basis for generating responses can be useful for content creators in a number of ways. Here are a few examples:

  1. Generating content: A chatbot that uses GPT could be used to generate content for a website or social media platform. For example, it could be used to write blog posts or social media posts in a particular style or on a specific topic.
  2. Answering questions: A chatbot that uses GPT could be used to answer questions posed by users on a website or social media platform. This could be useful for content creators who want to provide quick and accurate responses to user inquiries, without having to devote a lot of time to answering individual questions.
  3. Providing inspiration: A chatbot that uses GPT could be used to provide inspiration for content creators looking for ideas for their next project. For example, it could generate a list of potential topic ideas or prompts for writing.
  4. Automating tasks: A chatbot that uses GPT could be used to automate certain tasks related to content creation, such as generating summaries of articles or creating social media posts from blog content. This could save content creators time and allow them to focus on more creative aspects of their work.

What a fascinating horizontal ability of a system to collect all the available information that’s ever been shared by humans across the world wide web. There is no group of geniuses that could be able to achieve such integration – especially because each of them often comes with quite a strong ego 😊.  A team of e.g., 10 people can never work as 1 organism, but AI can. Artificial intelligence does not suffer from many human flaws.

Since I’ve worked in education since 2006, I can see incredible benefits if kids are taught to use the tool properly and efficiently – so it helps expand their horizons and intellectual ability and not merely using it to dodge the system. I see it as a great opportunity – because it will push the educational system to change and such powerful change could actually help shake up some edu systems that current struggle with obsolescence.

There’s no way that you can prevent kids from using the marvelous benefits of tools such as chat GPT. Now, the grown-ups should start coming up with genius strategies on how to best harvest all the advancements offered by the new AI.  What a great challenge to have. Encouraging learners/students by giving them fascinating questions, analyzing the answers, integrating them with critical thinking, encouraging creativity (music, arts & crafts, dance), coming up with new, original ideas, and conclusions, and challenging various thoughts of individual thinkers. Opening the time and space to leap into what humanity may need in the years to come. I think it would be a wonderful opportunity in addition to developing more enhanced cognitive skills while having more time & space to focus on emotional intelligence, health and well being, honing social skills, learning about the role and importance of nature – our planet, and so on.

Chatbots that use GPT or other language models as a basis for generating responses can be useful for educators in a number of ways. Here are a few examples:

  1. Providing additional support: A chatbot that uses GPT could be used to provide additional support to students outside of class time. For example, it could answer questions about course material or provide additional explanations of difficult concepts.
  2. Assessing student understanding: A chatbot that uses GPT could be used to assess student understanding of course material by posing questions and evaluating responses. This could provide educators with insights into student progress and areas where additional support may be needed.
  3. Generating personalized learning materials: A chatbot that uses GPT could be used to generate personalized learning materials for students based on their specific needs and interests. For example, it could generate custom quiz questions or create personalized study guides.
  4. Enhancing online learning: A chatbot that uses GPT could be used to enhance online learning by providing a more interactive and engaging experience for students. For example, it could facilitate discussions or provide personalized feedback on assignments.

There will still be a place for writers – the ones that are able to put their distinct originality and soul into what they share with the world. I’m not yet sure to what extent artificial intelligence is able to produce the likes of Khalil Gibran, Rabindranath Tagore, or Rumi. I am yet to discover that and I’ll keep an open mind. I know AI can easily put the work of Khalil, Tagore, and Rumi together, but it cannot make the 4th one. That’s the limitation of horizontal intelligence – it lacks vertical flow – an individual soulful expression that cannot be artificially produced.

There are lots of organizations and individuals that have been doing exactly the same thing as this product. Not so widely though. There are some who have researched particular topics for several decades of their life, have read hundreds of books and are now distilling that knowledge into their own bottles with a distinct flavor that may suit a certain group of the population they are targeting or wanting to inspire. In many cases, they have done this work first and foremost for themselves. They can still continue doing so. With the support of AI, their work could become even more encompassing, profound, and enriching. Depends if their ability is about collecting data and putting it together or coming up with something original, a product that society and times are calling for.

There are several ways that chatbots that use GPT or other language models as a basis for generating responses can increase productivity:

  1. Automating tasks: Chatbots can be used to automate tasks that would otherwise be time-consuming or repetitive for humans. For example, a chatbot could be used to answer frequently asked questions, generate reports, or create summaries of documents. This can save time and allow humans to focus on more complex and high-value tasks.
  2. Enhancing communication: Chatbots can be used to facilitate communication and improve the flow of information within an organization. For example, a chatbot could be used to provide updates, send reminders, or facilitate group discussions. This can help to reduce the need for in-person meetings and improve the speed at which information is shared.
  3. Providing quick and accurate responses: Chatbots can provide quick and accurate responses to user inquiries, which can save time and improve the efficiency of an organization. For example, a chatbot could be used to answer customer questions or provide information to employees.
  4. Improving customer service: Chatbots can be used to improve customer service by providing fast and convenient access to information and assistance. This can help to reduce wait times and improve the overall customer experience.

I think chat GPS is an exciting step forwards because knowledge can no longer be limited to a handful of people but widely available to everyone with internet access. Capital investment firms have been utilizing AI for collecting data that traders and trading systems need to make investment decisions for quote some time now. Certain agencies have access to population data. Many similar systems are already in place, though they are very niche.

Is chat GPS data synthesis accurate?

The accuracy of chatbots that use GPT or other language models as a basis for generating responses depends on a number of factors, including the quality of the training data, the complexity of the tasks being performed, and the specific implementation of the chatbot.

In general, GPT and other language models are able to generate text that is quite similar to human-generated text, and they have been used to perform a wide range of language processing tasks with impressive results. However, like any machine learning model, they are not perfect and may sometimes generate responses that are inaccurate or unrelated to the input.

It is important to carefully evaluate the performance of any chatbot that uses GPT or other language models and to continuously monitor and improve its accuracy over time. In addition, it is important to use these models in an appropriate context and to ensure that they are used in a way that is transparent and fair to users.

Chat GPT is an excellent opportunity that encourages us to apply common sense while exercising our brains to analyze, synthesize and integrate generated information. A much needed shift from what we have been expected to do by the educational system that is still inclined towards memorizing data.

As chat GPT goes mainstream, I see a positive change –AI will be able to make decisions based on all our accumulated knowledge. Where humans often fail – for a variety of reasons; e.g., lack of access and lacking the ability to process vast terabytes of knowledge or having inbuilt biases that narrow their point of view – AI will succeed. This by itself is a great teaching for humanity. It might also be a reason for making us feel vulnerable. It will very likely uncover our many flaws.

Every coin has 2 sides – I know that. Everything has its advantages and disadvantages, but for now, I choose to focus on the positive. Only time will tell and with time I will continue expanding my point of view and share what inspires me next.

Horizontally, I can do that with the help of AI. When I combine that with vertical integration I add a very unique flavor, which is available only through me. And that’s what makes the difference. The intention.

The purpose of content creation is multifold. For me, writing is a process of self-discovery, a powerful tool for self-reflection. It allows me to draw out and process questions and answers I am able to do only when I fully engage in the process of writing. For now. I don’t see the rise of AI as something to fear, I see it as being complementary to all what is. The AI may alter the ecosystem but it can’t change who I am or the role I play in this system. Only I can do that. When the intentions are clear there is no room for fear or misunderstanding about where the role of one ends and where the role of the other begins. That much is clear. 🤖👩‍💻

The ‘I’ of the Storm

I move
Through any season;
pleasant summer time,
silver moonlit night,
cold stormy winter sigh.

I move into the storm,
frost biting through my skin,
I move as if I am the storm.

The wind sweeps the snow beneath my feet,
clearing the path ahead of me
making way
As if I am the way.
I am the wind, the storm, the snow.

As if I am the force of nature.
Your indispensable I.

Mother nature,
where is this road taking me now?
Where must I go?
What must I shed, what else is there to learn, to experience, to give, to know?

My joy is your joy.
My rage, my tears, my fire,
my strength… it all comes through you.

I know.
I do as you will.

I move, I walk, I run, I sing, I dance, I breath, I fight, I love, I swim, I cry, I fly through you.
As you do through me.

Until you let me go.
So ‘I’ can go back home.

What a difference a day makes, 24 little hours…. Time after time. <3

Joy of Life

In a nutshell, sleeps the mighty tree,
Knock, knock.
Beckons him the Life Force.
Your time has come,
Your time is now.
Your journey reconvenes.

The rain,
the sun,
the earth,
the wind,
the storms,
the season,
your tribe.

We’re all here because of you.

You are the Joy of Life.

Nine Billion of Us

Nine billion of us, drumming the same beat – together.
I chiseled out the following few verses for you, for me, for us all.

Let’s get this vibe right.
Gently close your eyes, breathe in and out.

Only this time breath through your heart.

If you feel the sudden twitch, that’s all right.
Take a deep sigh of relief – that’s a good start.

And so it begins…
My story is but one of billions of stories unfolding
in this moment of time.
There are many themes we all have in common.
This one is about love and acceptance.
It’s how it all begins,
with the sweet loving fragrance called life.

Yet, I’m always seeking something more.
Wondering, what am I here for?
What have I got to give that can be lovingly received?
How can I best serve in this life?

Am I not enough, the way I am?
This question comes with such unease.
Is it possible to feel too much?
So much, it sometimes drives me nuts.

I suppose we all come with a safety switch –
just like the fuse box comes with the home.
When the surge gets too strong,
the lights simply go out.

If its night time, it gets pretty dark.

I know it too well – I also switch off.
Going from one extreme to nothing at all in my own magnetic field.
Thank God for the impeccable heartbeat,
it knows how to drum on its own.

I drove many things to an abrupt close – out of fear.
It’s the fear that kills the flow.
I need to let go of my compulsion to control.
I can be hesitant with the unfamiliar, the unknown – I know.
Deeply rooted imprints of various events
have formed patterns of the fight & flight reflex.
Fight & Flight.

And just when I’m about to shut down,
the lighting strikes,
I get an insight.

I recall there’s a different, lighter way I can take –
I can breathe through my heart,
and vibrate in a different way.
Not how I was programmed to be,
but what I was truly meant to be.
If you know what I mean.
There’s a way to be.
I know it well, it’s always been there.

Light is right
and often – less is more.

I’ve always been grateful for guidance, words of wisdom,
but I no longer seek gurus to define my way.
I am ‘the way’.
The wisdom of ages is inherent in us all.
Through billions of us it flows when we open up
and trust the synchronous flow.

I need you to be by my side.
My kind, loving, receptive heart,
most precious in my life.

As I remember and hum these sacred words,
every hour of my day,
both fight and flight begin to fade away.
A kind, loving, receptive heart is what sets me free.

I thank you for hearing me out,
for receiving me,
with your open heart.
By being received I’m able to give,
to feel and to heal.

I am not just a useless kid I was once thought to believe.
We all have something precious to give.
More than anything else, a kind, loving, and receptive heart.

There are 9 billion of us, drumming the same beat,
with 9 billion beautiful hearts, each moment, together.
Humming the sacred tune.

I know that the sum of its parts is always greater
than the parts when taken separately.

And I’m also aware that no matter how far on the ‘highway’ I reach,
I’m always the same distance away from the ditch. ☺️

Happy December 2022.
Let’s have a jolly good ride in 2023,
and may the mighty force be with us all! 🍓❤️🍒
